IREN Models

Baby IREN
Baby IREN supports early childhood development by connecting babies and young children (ages 0–6) with meaningful learning experiences through touch-based interaction. Each doll allows parents or caregivers to upload personalized audio content, enabling children to learn language, sounds, and basic concepts in a natural and engaging way. Designed for both visually impaired and sighted children, Baby IREN encourages early cognitive, sensory, and emotional development. It is ideal for use at home, in daycare centers, and early childhood education programs, helping children build strong learning foundations from an early age.
IREN Device
The IREN Device addresses one of the biggest barriers in inclusive education: access to learning materials for visually impaired students. In many schools, braille resources are limited, expensive, and often unavailable on time, leaving students behind. IREN ensures that learning materials, assignments, and examinations are accessible at the same time as for sighted students, enabling independent learning across primary, secondary, and higher education. Designed and manufactured in Tanzania, the device supports schools, teachers, and institutions in delivering truly inclusive education in a cost-effective and scalable way.

Through a simple and secure interface, parents can upload personalized audio content that connects directly to Baby IREN and other learning tools. With built-in content filtering and full parental control, children only access age-appropriate and approved learning materials. This ensures a safe, nurturing, and personalized learning experience that supports language development, listening skills, and early cognitive growth from birth.
School Platform (IREN Teacher Platform)
The IREN Teacher Platform is designed to make inclusive teaching easier, faster, and more effective. Teachers can upload learning materials, assignments, and examinations once and instantly make them accessible to visually impaired students through IREN devices. The platform includes intelligent content filtering that ensures students only access materials appropriate to their education level, protecting them from irrelevant or unsuitable content. By centralizing content delivery and assessment, the platform reduces workload, improves consistency, and ensures that visually impaired learners receive the same academic opportunities as their peers.
